1. Where do you go when you go shopping for something? What do you buy when you go there? What is special about that place?
I often go shopping at shopping centers in Vietnam.
They are mostly in big cities these days.
One of the biggest shopping centers is the Lotte mall.
There are a lot of stores at these places, such as clothes stores, jewelry stores, supermarkets.
You can get discounts while buying high quality products there.
Plus, there are many restaurants at the malls.
So, you can enjoy delicious meals there.
Once again, shopping centers are great places for shopping.

2. Think of your early memories of shopping. Was there a store you remember from your childhood? What did it look like and what was your impression of that place? Describe that place for me in detail.
Let me tell you about one of my memories of shopping.
When I was a kid, I often went to the flea market with my grandmother.
As far as I remembered, they were many products sold by local people there.
It was a colorful place.
We often bought food and rice, or groceries there.
The price was always reasonable.
So, this was my early shopping experience.

3. Sometimes, funny or unexpected things happen while shopping. Tell me about a memorable shopping experience you had. Maybe you saw a friend at a store, maybe the item you bought was broken or did not work. Tell me about a shopping trip that you remember for some reason.
I remember shopping for some shoes recently.
I found out about a nice pair of running shoes on the internet, and I went to a shoe store to get them.
When I arrived at the store, I told the salesperson the shoes that I wanted.
However, the store did NOT have my size in stock, they were sold-out.
I could NOT get the shoes I wanted.
I had to get them online later on.
So, this was the last time I bought new shoes.

4. When was the last time you went to shop for something? Where did you go and what did you buy? Who did you go with? What was special about that shopping experience?
I remember going shopping with my family last week.
We went to the Lotte Department store downtown to buy new clothes.
There were many pretty shirts and trousers on sale, so I could save a lot of money.
The salesperson there was very nice.
She helped us choose the size and the color.
However, there were a lot of people at the clothes store.
I had to wait for a long time to check out.
So, I think it was a special shopping experience.

FASHION

1. What kinds of clothes do people in your country typically wear? Do they wear different clothes for work or for play?
I think Vietnamese fashion styles are seasonal.
Vietnam has four distinct seasons: spring, summer, autumn an winter, so people wear different clothes for each season.
They often wear jackets in the spring.
In summer, they usually wear T-shirts and jeans.
They wear sweaters in autumn.
In winter, they wear coats and gloves to keep warm.
They usually dress smartly at work.
They wear suits and ties to look professional.
So, I think Vietnamese are very fashionable.

2. What kinds of clothes do you like to wear personally? What kind of fashion style do you prefer? What are you wearing today? Give me all the details about your fashion style.
I don't have an exact fashion style.
My fashion style depends on my purposes.
I usually wear sports clothes when I go for a run.
I often wear T-shirts and jeans when I hang out with my friends.
When I am at work, I wear suits, shirts and trousers.
When I am at home, I just wear whatever makes me feel comfortable.
So, I wear different clothes for different purposes.

3. Fashion styles are always changing. Tell me about the kinds of clothes that were popular when you were younger. What did fashion styles look like back then? How were they different from what is popular now?.
When I was a kid, people didn't care much about fashion.
They used to wear sandals because they were convenient.
Plus, they wore clothes with simple patterns and basic colors.
But now, they love to update the latest trends.
People see new fashion trends on the internet and social media.
They want to look nice when they go out, so they wear high heels or shoes instead of sandals.
They also mix and match their clothes to look more stylish.
So, that's the difference between fashion trends in the past and now.

4. Tell me about the last time you bought a new piece of clothing. What did you need to buy and where did you find it? Were there any challenges or problems? Give me all the details.
