MOVIES

1. You indicated in the survey that you like to watch movies. What kinds of movie do you like to watch? Why do you like those types of movies?
When it comes to movies, my favorite kinds of movie are action movies and Vietnam movies.
I feel excited in every single action scene.
Plus, action movies nowadays are made very well, so they are always my first choice when I go to the cinema.
I am also into Vietnam movies.
They are usually about family and relationships.
They are sometimes very interesting and emotional, so I enjoy watching them with my family.
Once again, I am interested in action movies and Vietnam movies.

2. Tell me about when you went to the movies recently. Who did you go with and how was that day? What did you do before the movie and what did you do after?
I remember watching a movie with my family recently.
It was a reward for my daughter who had been studying hard.
The movie we watched was a cartoon, called "Puss in Boots".
Before watching the movie, we went to the cinema, we bought tickets for 4 people, bought bottled water, snacks and some popcorn.
After watching the movie, we went to my friend's house for dinner, we ate, drank wine, and talked about funny stories.
It was a memorable day for me.

3. Tell me about a memorable movie that you watched in the past. What was it about? What was special about that movie?
I remember watching, “Going Home, My Dear”, a Vietnamese TV series.
The movie told the story of a small family with a father and 3 daughters.
Whether life was successful or difficult, home was a place to return, where loving family was always welcome.
One of the reasons why the movie has been so successful was because the content was easy to understand and the actors performed very well.
The movie won many awards at Vietnam VTV Awards.
Looking back, it was one of the most memorable movies of my life.

4. Tell me about the movie theaters you typically go to. What are they like? Describe a movie theater you often go to in as much detail as possible.
In my free time, I often go to the cinema called Vincom to watch some movies and relax.
The cinema is quite near my house, so it takes me only a few minutes to get there.
It is a big building with bright color on the outside and warm color on the inside.
The chairs at the cinema are soft and comfortable.
The popcorn and coke are delicious.
I also love the other services of the cinema such as booking tickets online.
So, that's all about my favorite cinema.

MUSIC

1. You indicated in the survey that you listen to music. What kinds of music do you listen to? Who are some of your favorite musicians or composers?
I am a big fan of music.
My favorite kinds of music are pop, rock and classical music, especially classical guitar.
I’m not a fan of any singer.
The Walls is my favorite band.
Trinh Cong Son is my favorite artist.
Music is an essential part of my day, it makes me happier.
It keeps me energetic throughout the day.
It also changes my feelings and puts me in a good mood.

2. When and where do you usually listen to music? Do you listen to the radio? Do you go to concerts? Tell me about the different ways you enjoy music.
I often listen to music in my free time.
It helps me relax.
There are many ways for me to enjoy music, too.
First, I often download songs to my cellphone, which is convenient for me.
Some apps like Zing MP3 or YouTube are great places to listen to music.
Besides, I also listen to music in the bus when I go to work.
Plus, I often go to concerts and enjoy live music.
There are many bands playing and I enjoy myself there.
So, these are something about the ways I listen to music.

3. When did you first become interested in music? What kinds of music did you like at first? Tell me about how your interest in music developed from your childhood until today.
I first became interested in music when I was in high school.
At that time, there was a band in Vietnam named “The Wall”, this band was very famous for rock music.
As I got older, I started to listen to various types of music.
I sometimes listen to pop music, but I am sometimes in the mood for classical music.
I sometimes enjoy rap music when I'm feeling excited.
So, I listen to various types of music now.

4. Could you think back to a particularly memorable time when you heard live music? When was it? Where were you? Who were you with? What happened that made that performance so memorable?
I remember going to a concert with my wife a few years ago.
It was a concert by a Vietnamese singer.
The mood of the concert was amazing.
People were screaming during the concert and they sang along to most of the songs.
The concert was completely sold-out.
After the concert, we went to a café nearby to hang out.
So, it was one of the most memorable concerts in my life.
